Job description
As Engineering Manager, you will oversee and lead an established Engineering team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day Design Engineering Team who prepare design briefs and detailed specifications to facilitate companies custom engineered solution demands.
Requirements:
Experience as Engineering Manager:
A proven track record of pro-actively managing and leading people, with strong communication skills.
Educated to Degree level, ideally B(Eng) or an equivalent professional qualification in an Engineering specialty such as Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering
Proven track record of prioritising, achieving strict deadlines with an Engineering Team
Work conditions:
We are currently partnering with a Global Engineering business in the UAE who offer complex custom engineered solutions, serving industries such as Wind Energy, Nuclear, Construction, Marine and Offshore Oil & Gas.
Salary between 40,000 - 55,000 AED per month plus Benefits
Responsibilities:
Managing Design Engineering and product development jobs, tasks and work flow from start to finish
Understand competitors and ensure that products are ahead of them, maintaining and growing the leading global brand
Managing, coaching, and leading the engineering team, overseeing their personal development
Produce detailed drawings, fabrication drawings and GA drawings
Ensure legislative compliance and compliance with relevant Global standards.
Be able to think innovatively to exceed customer expectations, overcome challenges and improve existing designs, influence new product ideas
